The Embassy of Libya Hosts an Education and Cultural Experience Event in Washington, D.C.
Celebrated every year during the last week of April, World Immunization Week (April 24-30, 2021) aims to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted people around the world, infecting young and old, and has taken a significant toll on the global economy.
With the theme “Vaccines bring us closer,” World Immunization Week 2021 urges greater engagement around immunization globally to promote the importance of vaccination in bringing people together, and improving the health and wellbeing of everyone.
Today, vaccines are gradually becoming available for everyone in Libya, bringing a new sense of optimism and expectation for the eventual end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
