Libyan Special Envoy to the United States Meets with Charge d'Affaires Al-Daif

On 17 August 2021, Libyan Special Envoy to the United States of America Mohammed Abdallah met with newly-instated Chargé d’Affaires Khaled Al-Daif.

In their meeting, both the special envoy and chargé d’affaires discussed the new transition at the embassy, highlighting the importance of furthering cooperation between the Libyan government and its mission in the United States. 

Additionally, both stressed the need to continue enhancing U.S.-Libya relations, fostering support for the Libyan unity government’s strategic policies at home and abroad.
