The Embassy of Libya Hosts an Education and Cultural Experience Event in Washington, D.C.
Monday, October 26th, 2022, The Embassy was pleased to receive Dr. Najla Elmangoush, the Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs, where she met embassy diplomats and the U.S.-Libya Business Association (USLBA), a trade association in the United States that focuses on Libya, to discuss economic relations.
During her visit, Dr. Elmangoush also announced the commencement of issuing passports from the embassy in D.C. and surveyed the new site of the Chargé d'Affairs and political staff offices to better position the embassy to build strategic relationships.
Appointments for passports will be made on the embassy website starting in October, and registration, and photo processing will be done at 5881 Leesburg Pike Falls Church, VA 22041.
The embassy would like to express its appreciation to the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Dr. Najla Elmangoush, the Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs, for consistent high level collaboration and support for the mission of the Embassy of Libya in the United States.
