In a set of separate constructive meetings today with both House and Senate Armed Services Committees, Ambassador Bughaighis updated both House Chair Adam Smith and Senate Committee staff on developments in Libya’s various tracks. In their conversations, both House and Senate committees reiterated support for the stability of Libya, highlighting the work of the 5+5 JMC and the selection of the new executive authorities through the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum.
