Continuous Virtual Meetings with Members of Congress

 Ambassador Bughaighis continues engagement with members of the U.S. Congress to update members on the situation in Libya. On July 16, the Ambassador met virtually with Chairman of House Foreign Affairs Committee Mr. Eliot Engel (NY-16), while also having met virtually with members of the Senate Armed Services Committee, chaired by Senator Jim Inhofe (OK) and ranking member Senator Jack Reed (RI), and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, chaired by Senator Jim Risch (ID) during the past few days.
