The Embassy of Libya Hosts an Education and Cultural Experience Event in Washington, D.C.
In a virtual meeting on December 1, 2020, Ambassador Bughaighis updated Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-22), Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and International Terrorism, on developments in Libya, in addition to discussing the ongoing political and security dialogue taking place in the country. Meetings with members of Congress constitute an important part of the Embassy's outreach and transfer of dialogue and information.
Finally, with the conclusion of the recent elections, Ambassador Bughaighis congratulated Chairman Deutch on his reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives where he will continue to serve his constituents in the State of Florida.
