The Embassy of Libya Hosts an Education and Cultural Experience Event in Washington, D.C.
On 27 January, Ambassador Bughaighis met virtually with board members of the U.S.-Libya Business Association (USLBA) to discuss updates on Libya’s dialogue tracks and recent developments. Both parties expressed their shared optimism for the new Biden administration and the government’s potential priorities that will impact the U.S.-Libya relationship. Within the meeting, board members of the USLBA stated their continued commitment to facilitating opportunities for business between American companies and Libyan industries.
As a non-profit member-based association focused solely on business relations between the United States and Libya, the USLBA plays a major role in facilitating mutually beneficial opportunities for trade and investment. In addition to this, the Embassy’s engagement with the USLBA is in the frame of fostering a bilateral diplomatic and commercial relationship between the two countries. To that end, both parties agreed to continue the conversation on forthcoming opportunities in this regard.
